Every winter, Igloofest brings together thousands of electronic music fans to dance under the stars at the Old Port of Montreal. With its ice-and-steel decor, its striking architectural staging, its programs that pull in the best local and international DJs, the Igloo Village and its famous “one piece” contest, Igloofest is one of the hottest events in the city and among the most prominent in Canada.
This year, for the 7th edition, Igloofest returns for 4 weekends and a total of 12 simultaneously hot and frosty nights. On January 17-18-19, 24-25-26, and 31 as well as February1-2, 7-8-9, 2013, it’ll be time dress warm and kitsch or the snow to face the Quebec winter challenge and have good fun. See you there!

Lost something at Igloofest? You can:
a) Write a detailed description of your item to lostandfound@piknicelectronik.com with your relevant contact info.
b) On your next visit to the event site, go to reclaim it at the information counter situated in the Sapporo Pavilion.
If your item isn't found by the Igloofest team, you can try contacting the Old Port of Montreal's Lost Items Service at 514-496-0606.
Please note that all unclaimed items are donated to charity one week after they're found.

WHAT KIND OF TEMPERATURES AWAIT ME IN MONTREAL DURING THE MONTH OF JANUARY?
It’s not so bad! Just dress very warmly and cover all skin with several layers. The temperature oscillates between -5 °C and -20°C in January.
WHAT CAN OR CAN’T I BRING ONTO THE IGLOOFEST GROUNDS?
You are NOT allowed to enter the site with the following:
- Alcoholic beverages and all kinds of liquid beverages
- Illegal drugs and paraphernalia
- Fireworks
- Animals
- Any and all objects that can cause bodily harm
Onsite, you’ll find:
- Toilets
- Bars
- Scéna Snack: you can buy hot dogs, poutine, etc.
- Iglooboutique: where you can buy the famous Igloofest toque, Piknic Électronik sweatshirts, "Hot pads" to warm your feet and hands, and stickers.
CAN I DRIVE TO THE IGLOOFEST SITE?
Yes! Parking is available at Clock Tower Quay and the King Edward Quay.

IS IGLOOFEST AN EVENT FOR EVERYONE? ARE KIDS ADMITTED?
Igloofest is an 18+ event. Children are not admitted.

HOW CAN I FIND SOMETHING I LOST AT IGLOOFEST?
Whether you lost your iPhone, your driver's license, a mitten, or your chess club membership card, there's no need to panic. Just follow the Igloofest lost and found procedures:
Claim your objects by writing to us at lostandfound@piknicelectronik.com. We will dispose of any unclaimed paraphenalia by Tuesday. Lost items may also be claimed at the Iglooboutique (in the Jacques-Cartier pavillion) during the Igloofest events.
